Light & time are explored in this series of paintings based on moments of sunlight observed in Hall's close surroundings.
The time consuming, traditional way of working with layers of oilpaint stands in strong contrast with the volatile moments of sunlight, as well as with the uncontrolable beeswax and rough wood carvings.
